The players of Saint Lucia secured 2nd position out of 36 teams on the first day of the 3rd Francophonie Online Team Chess Championships 2023 after a challenging six rounds of play. Saint Lucian Nathaniel Mathurin is currently ranked 12 out of 201 players. The chess competition is being held on May 20 and 21.
