Game Of Thrones: George RR Martin broke the news of the death of the albino Arctic Wolf that played Ghost, Jon Snows direwolf, on Game of Thrones.
It’s a sad day for ‘Game of Thrones’ fans. The real life the real-life wolf who played Ghost has passed away. George R. R. Martin made the sad announcement on Twitter today. Jon Snow's direwolf was played by an albino Arctic Wolf and lived at the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary in New Mexico, USA. The four-legged star of the show was part of a pack that lived at the rescue centre supported by the Martin family.In loving memory of the real life Ghost from the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary.  He passed this week & he will be missed. The runt of the litter, Ghost was gifted to the illegitimate Stark, Jon Snow, and quickly became popular amongst fans during his time at the Wall.He is one of the only two remaining Stark direwolves, but Nymeria has been missing since the first season. Fans are hoping that because of the wolf’s death, the character of Ghost won't be killed off in the books or the show.© HBOGhost completely stood out from the other Stark family pets with his albino fur and striking red eyes.© HBO‘GoT’ fans have been through the tragic death of four of the direwolves, but everyone hoped to see Ghost at his master's side by the Iron Throne.
