Berlin GP Final 1: Nakamura & Aronian both dodge bullets
Levon Aronian won a pawn and had chances to score a hugely important win with the black pieces in Game 1 of the Berlin FIDE Grand Prix Final, but a complicated middlegame suddenly left Hikaru Nakamura as the player pushing for victory. Levon will now have White in Wednesday’s Game 2.
