Google is opening Google Play Instant to Android game developers

At its annual I/O developer conference on Tuesday, Google announced the opening of Google Play Instant to all Android game developers. Formally known as Android Instant Apps, Google Play Instant lets users launch app and game experiences without having to download them first. The rebranding of the format was initiated to expand the Instant App experience with the addition of games. The broad release of Google Play Instant for all Android app and game developers globally will help catalyze greater adoption of the technology.
