Early in the region, players can only access the southern part of the route, below the ledges that can be jumped over. The northern part of the route can be accessed via Dark Cave, or the one-way Route 45 south of Blackthorn City. At least three Badges are required for access via Dark Cave; Strength is required to clear the path through the cave.
