Mkhitaryan joined the Gunners from Manchester United in January 2018 as part of a transaction that included forward Alexis Sanchez moving to United. While with Arsenal, Mkhitaryan tallied nine goals and 13 assists. He found himself out of favor with the North London side last September, however, and landed an exit via Roma. Per talkSport, Mkhitaryan notched nine goals and five assists in 22 Serie A appearances during his first season with Roma. Roma finished the campaign fifth in the league table and eight points off fourth-place Lazio.
