The Scratcher is a dog-like creature that lurks around The End. Since the game's second major update, the Scratcher model changed from a simple solid black model to a gray skinned more detailed model. It has two red eyes that glow in the dark, however it is implied that it cannot see (or cannot see very well), and will only follow the player if they move without crouching.
