For the item in Spirit Tracks, see From Princess Zelda. Zelda's Letter is an item in Ocarina of Time. Link receives Zelda's Letter from the Princess herself in the Castle Courtyard. Zelda's Letter is required to make the Death Mountain Trail Gatekeeper in Kakariko Village open the gate that leads to the Death Mountain Trail.
